Health Matters Senior Strong OMG Youth Sports & OMG Adventure ClubDescription:Health Matters is A Wellness and Life Skills Initiative That Includes Physical Activity Nutrition Education Mental Health Support and Life Preparedness Workshops. It is Offered Through Both OMG Youth Sports Youth-focused and OMG Adventure Club Adult and Senior Programming. Senior Strong Its Senior Division Provides Adaptive Group Fitness Fall Prevention Mindfulness Practices and Social Engagement for Older Adults Including Those With Neurodivergence or Mobility Challenges.Accomplishments:In 2024 The Health Matters Initiative Served Over 200 Participants Including 80 Seniors. The Senior Strong Program Expanded to 2 New Regions and Included Partnerships With Local Health Educators and Senior Centers. Youth Sessions Focused On Healthy Habits Emotional Resilience and Physical Literacy. Surveys Showed A 93% Increase In Participant-reported Health Awareness and 88% Improvement In Confidence and Social Connection.
