The Goal of The Westside Queer Resource Center is to Build and Maintain Queer Community Across Washington County We Strive to Foster A Welcoming and Supportive Environment for The Queer Community Their Families and Allies The Vision of WQRC is to Create Intentional and Intersectional Community Spaces and Programming Where Everyone Belongs and is Supported On Their Journey WQRC is A 100 Volunteer Organization We Offer 22 Regular Monthly Programs for The Queer Community These Programs Are Designed to Bring Community Together and Help Fight Isolation and Improve Mental Health Outcomes Our Affinity Programming Supports Many Sub-sects of The Community Including Transgender and Gender Non-conforming 55 Aroace Queer Parents and Care Givers and Youth Our Activity Based Programming Brings The Community Together for Gaming Crafting Hiking and Mindfulness
