What they do

Human Restoration Project is A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit That Works to Restore Humanity to Education Through Research, Storytelling, and On-the-ground Partnerships. Our Work Operates On Three Levels: (1) Informing About The Need for Progressive, Human-centered Education; (2) Guiding Educators Through Free Resources, Professional Development, and A Self-paced Learning Platform; and (3) Growing The Movement Through Coalition Building and Grassroots Advocacy. Key Programs Include Polaris Education, A Student Empathy Interview Platform Serving 45+ Districts and 8,500+ Students; The Human-Centered Schools Network, Integrating Student Voice and Teacher Leadership Into School Transformation; and The Third Coast Learning Collaborative, A $3.9M DOE EIR Grant Supporting School Cohorts In Muskegon, MI. We Also Produce 245+ Published Articles, 150+ Podcast Episodes, and 40+ Free Resources for Educators.
