This Free Public Program Celebrated The Cultural Contributions of Black Americans Through Music, Dance, and Community Education. The Event Featured An All-Black Orchestra, Vocalists, and Dancers, and Included Three Public Workshops Focused On Financial Literacy, Mental Health, and Healthcare Access. These Workshops Were Hosted In Partnership With Local Nonprofit Organizations and Public Service Providers. The Program Directly Benefited Approximately 279 Attendees, Primarily From Low-income and Historically Underserved Communities In New York City. It Also Created Paid Opportunities for Over 25 Artists, Crew, and Administrative Professionals, The Majority of Whom Identified As Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. The Event Provided Cultural Enrichment While Increasing Access to Essential Public Resources for Marginalized Communities.
