What they do
Resounding Voices Gathers Together People Living With Dementia, Their Care Partners, and Community Volunteers for Weekly Fellowship and Choir Rehearsals, Followed By Public Concerts, Sing-alongs, and Performances In Community Events. In 2025, 18 People Living With Dementia Experienced The Life-affirming Joy of Making Music In A Caring and Judgment-free Environment. 21 Care Partners Shared A Purposeful Activity With The Person In Their Life Who is Living With Dementia and Connected With Other Care Partners for Mutual Support and Encouragement. 45 Community Volunteers Received Training That Enabled Them to Most Effectively Engage With and Support The Choir Members Living With Dementia While They All Sang Together. Hundreds of People Who Attended Our 2 Concerts, Holiday Sing-along, and 3 Public Performances Enjoyed Our Music While Observing That People Living With Dementia Can Still Learn Music and Play A Meaningful Role In Our Community.
