THE MISSION of THE FOUNDATION is to CARRY ON THE STRONG LEGACY THAT MATT DEVELOPED THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE THAT WAS BUILT ON FAITH, FAMILY, and FRIENDSHIP. BASED ON MATTS LOVE for THE GAME of FOOTBALL WHICH INCLUDED MANY GREAT PERFORMANCES DURING HIS PLAYING DAYS AT AMOS ALONZO STAGG HIGH SCHOOL, WE ARE COMMITTED to REWARDING A VERY SIGNIFICANT ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP to A GRADUATING SENIOR FOOTBALL PLAYER FROM STAGG H.S. THAT HAS PLANS to ATTEND COLLEGE.
