What they do

We Are An All-volunteer Foster-based Organization Whose Mission is to Find Permanent Homes for Kittens/cats While Allowing Them to Enjoy Time In Loving Foster Homes While They Wait. We Also Provide Foster Education and Training to The Feline Rescue Community. There Are Large Populations of Homeless Cats and Kittens Across The Country That Are In Overcrowded, High Kill Shelters. Many of These Animals Are Relinquished Because Owners Do Not Spay/neuter. Pregnant Cats And/or Litters Are Surrendered to These Shelters or Turned Out On The Streets, Where They Are At Risk From The Environment, and Are Also Allowed to Continue to Reproduce. We Take These Animals From Our Partner Shelters and Keep Them In Foster Homes Until They Are Socialized, Healthy, and Spayed or Neutered and Adopt Them Into Permanent Homes.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event. The complete report shows the exact difference and financial history.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
