THE NETWORK DISPERSED MINI GRANTS to DOZENS of TEACHERS, ACTIVISTS, SINGLE MOMS, and INCARCERATED PEOPLE. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS and INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER to CARRY OUT ITS PROGRAMMATIC MISSION & GOALS and BUILD A COALITION of ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED to EDUCATIONAL LIBERATION ACROSS THE COUNTRY. A LARGE PORTION of THE WORKINCLUDED AN EXTENSIVE ON THE GROUND ORGANIZING CAMPAIGN IN ATLANTA AROUND A TEACHERS IMPENDING PRISON SENTENCE. ATN WAS ABLE to ALSO PRODUCE INFORMATION & RESOURCES for PARENTS ABOUT THEIR CHOICES IN REGARDS to THEIR CHILDRENS STANDARDIZED TESTING. THE ORGANIZATION CARRIED OUT REGULAR PROGRAMMING INCLUDING THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE.
