AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF PET PARENTS

EIN 85-2092918 · Animal Protection & Welfare (D20)

What they do

One of The Leading Reasons Animals Are Not Returned Home When Lost is That The Owners Cannot Be Identified and Located. It Has Been Proven That Pets Who Are Microchipped Have A Far Greater Chance of Going Home Vs Ending Up In An Animal Shelter. The American Association of Pet Parents Made Microchips Available to Shelters and The Public In 2021 to Increase The Number of Pets Who Received This Life Saving Technology. 1500 Microchips Were Sold and Implanted In 2021 Alone Thus Increasing The Chance That 1500 Pets Will Be Reunited With Their Families If They Were to Get Lost.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
