Youth-Focus Initiatives: We Continue to Work In Partnership With Thrive Birth to Five, Chesterfield County Public Schools, Chesterfield Mental Health Support Services, Chesterfield County Libraries, Chesterfield WIC and Local Pediatricians to Promote The Basics Movement In Chesterfield County. Over 2000 Basics Kits (with Program Information, Books, and Engagement Items) Have Been Distributed Throughout The Community. In Partnership With Chesterfield County Parks & Recreation, We Have Installed United Way Born Learning Trails At Bensley Community Center and Huguenot Park. We Are Currently Planning The Installation of Another Trail At Ettrick Park In Early Spring 2025. This Initiative Will Also Include A Story Walk, Youth Gardening Area and More. Chesterfield County Parks Attract Thousands of Visitors Annually.
