During Calendar Year 2025, The Sealark Exploration Team Was Immersed In Mission Follow-up Reports to The Department of Wars Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) for Mission 25-4SB and Commenced Work On A DoW Contract to Research 30 Cases of Missing Aircrew In The Shortland Islands Area of The South Pacific. Mission 25-4SB Was Executed In November 2024, and Involved The Search for A Missing F4U Corsair Fighter Off The Coast of Gizo Island In The Solomon Islands. The Team Was Successful In Locating The Wreckage and Recovering Partial Human Remains. The Shortland Island Project Involves Intensive Research Into Squadron Records and Eye Witness Accounts On Numerous Over-water Aircraft Losses In and Around The Shortland Islands In The Solomon Islands Sector. These Reports Will Be Prioritized Into Possible Field Missions At DPAA and It is Expected That Sealark Will Conduct Several If Not Most of These Missions. of Note Was The Recent Positive Identification of Aircrew Remains From Sealark
