THROUGH THEIR ACTIVITIES, THEY DEVELOP A SENSE of PURPOSE AS THEY HELP CARE for HORSES WHO CARE for VETERANS and THEIR FAMILIES. PARTICIPANTS LEARN and IMPROVE SKILLS, SUCH AS: HORSE GROOMING LEADING RECOGNIZING HORSE BODY LANGUAGE and HORSE COMMUNICATION HOW to WORK AROUND HORSES SAFELY HORSE CHORES and SO MUCH MORE EQUINE FACILITATED COUNSELING IN EQUINE FACILITATED COUNSELING, CLIENTS WORK WITH A LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, A CERTIFIED EQUINE SPECIALIST, and A THERAPY HORSE to ACCOMPLISH PERSONAL GOALS SUPPORTING A TREATMENT PLAN.
