What they do

We Provided Funding for Plants and Animals At The Farm. These Funds Allowed 450 Students Within The ARHS Agriculture Department to Learn About The Full Life Cycle of Plants and Animals. Students Can Learn How to Plant, Grow, and Then Use or Sale The Finished Product to Benefit The Continue Operations of The Farm. Students Gain The Knowledge of Gestation Period, Birth, Loss of Animals. Then They Are Able to Help Raise The Animals for Breeding, Goat Milk, or Meat Products That Are Then Sold to Continue The Running of The Farm. The Goal is to Be Self-sustaining While Continuing to Grow The Opportunities for Students to See The Importance of Agriculture In Our Society. The Plants Are Purchased As Seed and Grown By The Students to Sell. They Get to See The Work of Planting and Harvesting or Not A Finished Product. This Gives Them A Small Idea of How Profits Can Be Lost Due to Weather or Lack of Care.
