What they do
The Mission is to Help Businesses Get Back In Business Faster By Collecting, Processing, and Disseminating Business Status (open, Closed, Limited) and Needs. Businesses Enroll In SABER to Share Their Status In Order for SABER to Represent Their Interests to Keep The Needs of Business Recovery In The Forefront of Decisions Made By Federal, State, and Local Governments, Which Also Enroll In SABER to View The Status Information On Maps and Lists and Integrate The Status Data Into Their Own Decision-support Applications. Depending On The Scope of The Disaster, As Many As 125,000 Businesses Have Been Monitored. Their Status is Published On The SABER Map Which is Made Available to The Public On The SABER Website. More Than 30 States, A Dozen Federal Agencies, and Dozens of Local Governments and Other Associations and Organizations Have Registered to Use The Status Data. Many of These Also Republish The Business Status On Their Own Electronic Maps and Websites for The Public or Members.

This record may have an IRS status problem. Do not give until you verify it.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
