The ADOS Advocacy Foundation Provides Year-round Training Programs to Its Members and Interested Community Stakeholders On Effective Advocacy Strategies and Civic Engagement Techniques. These Educational Programs Are Designed to Equip Participants With The Knowledge, Skills, and Tools Necessary to Advocate Within Their Local Communities On Policy and Social Issues Directly Affecting The Lives and Economic Progress of American Descendants of Chattel Slavery (ADOS). Training Activities Are Conducted On An Ongoing Basis Throughout The Year and Include Workshops, Seminars, and Instructional Resources Covering Legislative Advocacy, Community Organizing, and Public Policy Engagement. Through These Efforts, The Organization Seeks to Build A More Informed and Empowered Constituency Capable of Driving Systemic Improvements In Areas Such As Economic Equity, Health, Education, and Civil Rights for The ADOS Community.
