FRIENDS of THE COMMUNITY MEMORIAL BUILDING is A NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501(C)(3) CORPORATION FOUNDED IN 2019. OUR MISSION is RESTORING, REMODELING and PRESERVING THIS HISTORIC STRUCTURE. WE ARE PLEDGED to CARRY ON THE FOUNDERS ORIGINAL 1918 MISSION of PROVING A BUILDING to HONOR THOSE LOCAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE MILITARY and to PROVIDE A GATHERING PLACE for THE COMMUNITY and ITS ORGANIZATIONS. OUR VISION for THE BUILDING INCLUDES MAINTAINING THE INTEGRITY of THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, PROVIDING FIRST-CLASS MEETING FACILITIES, and COMPLETING A LOCAL MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM.
