Program Name: Employment Training & Opportunities for Vulnerable Women Mission: to Create Sustainable Work Opportunities for Vulnerable Women In Zones 3 and 7 of Guatemala City By Training Them As Conversational Spanish Tutors, Providing Holistic Emotional and Material Support, and Connecting Them With Spanish Learners Around The World. Activities: The Program Offers Training In Technology Literacy, Spanish Tutoring Techniques, English Language Skills, and Time Management. We Also Promote "Olas Spanish" Tutoring Sessions Through Various Platforms to Connect Women With Global Spanish Learners, Enabling Them to Earn Income and Develop Key Professional Skills. Target Population: Women Residing In Zones 3 and 7 of Guatemala City Who Face Significant Barriers to Traditional Employment. Impact: Since Launching In 2020, The Program Has Supported Over 20 Women On Their Path Toward Economic Stability and Holistic Wellbeing.
