What they do
We Deliver On This Mission In Three Ways: 1. Signature Paddling Events Hosted By DW, 2. Sponsorships (paddling Opportunities Hosted By Other Organizations) and 3. Paddling Scholarships for Individuals. Strategic Priorities Over The Next Two Years Are The Following: 1. Signature Paddling Events: Maintain Current Footprint: Strengthen Current Annual Event Footprint, Which Has Been 12 - 14 Events Per Year Across 6 - 7 States. The Key to Success Here is Building A Strong Local Volunteer Base Via Local Clubs / Organizations and Individuals. Our Focus Will Be to Leverage Organizations More Than We Have In The Past As Our Current Reliance On Individuals Places Significant Pressure On A Small Number of People, Introducing Risk. If We Can Leverage Grant Money to Cost-share With Organizations, We Can Reduce This Risk. 2. Sponsorships: This is A Growable Segment for Us - The Benefit of This Line is Twofold: 1) DW Can Fund Opportunities That Support Our Mission With Low Operational and Marketing L
