THE BARN HOUSE RESCUED DOGS and CATS, PROVIDED THEM WITH MEDICAL CARE and SHELTER, and FOUND PERMANENT HOMES for THEM. THE ANIMALS WE TOOK INTO THE PROGRAM CAME FROM OTHER RESCUES, STRAYS and OWNER SURRENDERS. MOST of THEM WENT to PRIVATE HOMES for ADOPTION and THE REMAINDER WERE CATS SENT to WORKING/BARN CAT POSITIONS. WE OPERATED A MONTHLY FOOD PANTRY THAT PROVIDED DONATED PET FOOD and SUPPLIES to OUR COMMUNITY. WE ALSO SHARED PANTRY ITEMS WITH OTHER RESCUES. OUR CATALYST PROGRAM PLACED A PET WITH SENIORS IN NEED of COMPANIONSHIP and PROVIDED ANY ASSISTANCE REQUIRED to CARE for THAT ANIMAL. WE GAVE EDUCATIONAL TOURS to BOTH KIDS and ADULTS to TEACH THEM ABOUT ANIMAL WELFARE and RESCUE.
