EIN 86-2505512 · Disaster Preparedness & Relief Services (M20)
What they do
Day One Relief Provided Large-scale Logistical and Material Support to Communities Impacted By Hurricane Helene. We Delivered Generators, Communication Devices, Food, Water, Medical and Sanitation Supplies, Cash Assistance, and Other Essential Resources to Partners Across Western North Carolina. Our Team Also Coordinated Aviation-based Transport for Medical Staff and Critical Supplies When Roads Were Inaccessible. Following The Storm, We Supported Emerging Relief Hubs and Community Partners With Ongoing Logistics, Procurement, Transportation, Warehousing, and Distribution. Day One Relief Connected National Donors and Relief Organizations With Frontline Community Groups, Ensuring That Large-scale Donations Were Matched Efficiently to Urgent On-the-ground Needs. Our Support for Communities Impacted By Hurricane Helene Remains Ongoing. We Also Continue to Address COVID-related Needs and Assist Eastern North Carolina Through Long-term Recovery From Hurricanes Florence and Matthew.
