Notable Accomplishments of The Academy for Public Service Were As Follows: More Than 70 Participants Served In The Program. 51% of Participants Were Female, 35% Were People of Color. We Held Our Fourth Model Arkansas Legislative Session In The Arkansas State Capitol Building. Just Over 400 Mock Legislative Bills Were Proposed, 150 Mock Bills Became Model Law. As A Possible Result of Participating In Our Program, Several Students Went On to Attend Several Prestigious Universities Such As Occidental College, Stanford, University of Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Rice University. One Student Obtained A Sponsor for Housing During The Model Session Which Accounts for The $125 Expense.
