Diaper Assistance & Education: GFL Provided Diaper Assistance and Pregnancy and Parenting Education Through More Than A Dozen Community Events Including Maternal Health Fairs Community Baby Showers and Resource Wellness Fairs and Through A Network of 11 Active Community Distribution Partners Serving Families In Need. The Organization Distributed Over 50,000 Diapers and Pull-ups to More Than 1,600 Families Including Responding to 500 Direct Requests Primarily From Low Income Black and Latino Families In Underserved Communities. This Work Was Supported By In-kind Donations From GFLs Annual Diaper Drive and Additional Community-led Drives. GFL Developed The Second Chapter of Its Pregnanting Toolkit to Support Expectant Parenting and Bereaved Families and Co-led The Pregnanting Group A Peer-led Virtual Support Group Fostering Connection Among Expectant and New Parents.
