We Held A Legislative Bootcamp to Educate Physicians How to Become Involved In Advocacy. We Helped Texas Legislators Write Bills That Were Introduced In The Last Texas Legislative Session. These Bills Would Ensure Appropriate Supervision of Nonphysicians In Providing Medical Care. Additionally We Raised Awareness of The Problem of Medical School Graduates Who Dont Match for Residency Training Each Year, But Who Could Be Used to Help Improve Access to Medical Care In Rural Texas While Waiting to Get A Residency Position.
