On-Water Activity: Conducted Over 100 Commercial Fishing and Aquaculture Trips As The Primary Foundation for Our Nature-based Work Programming for Veterans and First-responders. Each Trip Lasting Roughly 3 Hours of On-water Work Time Supporting 3-4 Personnel. These Trips Provided Countless Opportunities to Connect With Program Participants to Encourage Engagement and Promote Healing Through Many Different Avenues As Conditions Allow. Other Support: Completed and Maintained Over 4.5 Miles of Coastal Nature Trails On Public Lands Around Our Facility to Provide Public Access to The Chesapeake Bay and An Additional Work Nature Avenue for Program Use. Managed All Gear and Boat Maintenance Internally As Part of Workflow and Support Program. Presented At 45 Community Events to Promote Mental Health Awareness. Organized Weekly Community Dinners Serving Over 675 Individuals. Offered Temporary Housing for Participants Totaling Approximately 1480 Room Stays.
