THE CURRENT FOCUS of THE DDEV FOUNDATION is THE DEVELOPMENT and MAINTENANCE of DDEV, A TOOL THAT HELPS WEB DEVELOPERS RUN THEIR WEBSITES LOCALLY ON THEIR OWN COMPUTERS. MANY ADD-ONS ARE ALSO SUPPORTED. ALL OFFICIAL ADD-ONS ARE FREE and OPEN SOURCE and LICENSED UNDER THE APACHE 2 OPEN SOURCE LICENSE. THE ORGANIZATION MAY ALSO CONDUCT and DISSEMINATE RESEARCH, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, and RESOURCES to PROMOTE BEST PRACTICES IN OPEN-SOURCE DEVELOPMENT, COLLABORATION, and DIGITAL LITERACY.
