What they do
City Mission Operates A Free Food Program That Runs Monday Through Friday Each Week Dedicated to Addressing Food Insecurity In Waterbury and The Greater Waterbury Area. Through Strong Partnerships With Local Organizations We Are Working to Reduce Hunger and Ensure Consistent Access to Nutritious Food for Both Individuals and Families In Need.Our Efforts Include Weekly Distributions of Non-perishable Food Items to Ten Partner Organizations and Community Beneficiaries. In Addition We Host Bimonthly Events Where We Distribute Over 150 Pantry Bags Directly to Residents and We Organize Monthly Food Collection Drives At Local Grocery Stores to Help Sustain Our Outreach. This Program Reached People Over 35,000 Individuals This Past Year.
