AN AVERAGE of 50 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED IN EACH of THE OTHER EVENTS, INCLUDING A VALENTINES DAY PARTY, GAME NIGHTS, BINGO and BIKING EVENTS, A MURAL PAINTING EVENT, ARTS and CRAFT ACTIVITIES, PICNICS, KARAOKE SING-ALONGS and A VOTING RIGHTS/HUMAN RIGHTS PRESENTATION. CO-HOSTS of SOME of THE EVENTS WERE OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING CYCLING WITHOUT AGE, THE IOWA CITY RECREATION DEPARTMENT, DISABILITY RIGHTS IOWA, IOWA VOCATONAL REHABILITATION, IOWA CITY SENIOR CENTER, JOHNSON COUNTY POOR FARM and UNITED WAY of JOHNSON and WASHINTON COUNTES. AT THREE COMMUNITY EVENTS, TABLES WERE SET UP to SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED to MEMBERS AT NO CHARGE. ALL BOARD MEMBERS and OFFICERS ARE VOLUNTEERS.
