What they do
Wide World for Refugee is Dedicated to Empowering and Uplifting Refugees and Immigrants Through Cultural Programming Artistic Engagement Community Education and Advocacy. During The FY24 We Organized The Refugees and Immigrants Festival Which Brought Together More Than 500 Community Members to Celebrate and Highlight The Talents of Refugee and Immigrant Artists; Provided Year-round Cultural Programming and Administrative Support to Local Refugee Artists to Ensure Fair Compensation and Expanded Performance Opportunities; Delivered Youth Arts Workshops That Strengthened Leadership Confidence and Cultural Identity Among Refugee and Immigrant Youth; and Collaborated With Community Partners to Connect Families With Cultural Educational and Artistic Resources. These Activities Directly Advanced Our Mission By Promoting Inclusion Fostering Cultural Understanding and Creating Opportunities for Marginalized Communities to Thrive.
