What they do
The Southern California Users of Magnets is A Nonprofit Group of Senior Researchers In Academia In The Field of Magnetic Resonance Research Who Wish to Create A Platform for Students and Researchers to Present Their Results and Network With Each Other. We Provide A Setting Where Students Can Present Their Research Results to Senior Professors and Their Peers From Other Schools. It is A Valuable Educational Experience Where Students Can Learn to Communicate Their Science In Public Speaking. In 2020, Our Conference Was Held Online Due to The COVID Pandemic. We Plan to Organize Our Conference In The Spring of 2022 At UC Santa Barbara. The Cost of The Conference is Expected to Be Below $2500, and Will Be Funded By Donations. The Money Will Be Used to Cover Catering for Attendees and Cleaning Fees for The Venue, As Well As Any Supplies That Might Be Needed. We Expect The Conference Will Operate In This Small Capacity for Many Years to Come. Attendees Will Be From Area Colleges and Universit
