What they do

Our Accomplishments for This Year Include Partnering With Organizations In Killeen, TX to Initiate A Shoe Drive That Raised Over 700 Pairs of Shoes Which Were Dispersed Across The Year. 300 Pairs Were Donated to Local Homeless and Womens Shelters, While Another 200 Were Given Out During A Pop-up Giveback Event In July. The Remaining 200 Pairs of Winter Shoes Were Given Out In December At Another Pop-up Event. Further, We Used The Foresters Community Volunteer Grant to Purchase Toiletries, Socks and Non-perishable Food Items. We Sorted These Items Into Care Packages and Passed Them Out At A Giveback Event In May That Served About 200 People. They Also Received A Fresh Sandwich and Chips Which Were Provided By Local Sponsors. Beyond Our Community Service Efforts In Killeen (which Speaks to The Last Point In Our Mission Statement), We Were Able to Partner With Danzversity In Austin, TX to Curate A Free, Monthly Event Called YOUnity Night That Brings The Community Together Through The Arts
