SPRING 2025 and FALL 2025 - FAMILY MATH (KINDERGARTEN MATH READINESS PROGRAM): IN EMLI CONTINUED OFFERING THE FLAGSHIP FAMILY MATH PROGRAM A MATH-CENTRIC KINDERGARTEN READINESS PROGRAM (KMRP) for PRESCHOOL CHILDREN and THEIR FAMILIES AT TWO LOCATIONS IN LEWISTON (1) TITLE I SCHOOL; (2) AT A COMMUNITY LOCATION IN LEWISTON. IN SPRING 2025 EMLI EXPANDED THE PROGRAM to THE GREATER PORTLAND AREA and CONDUCTED TWO SESSIONS IN SPRING and FALL 2025. SUCCESS of THE PROGRAM PROMPTED US to START TWO ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS IN FALL 2025. HOWEVER, DUE to LOW ENROLLMENT WE DISCONTINUED THE TWO PROGRAMS. ONE of WHICH WE REOPENED AT A NEW LOCATION IN SPRING 2026 IN PORTLAND, and IT is GOING WELL. ENGAGING YOUNG LEARNERS and THEIR FAMILIES IN "MATH PLAY- and "MATH TALK" DURING THE FAMILY MATH CLASSES PROVIDES CHILDREN WITH POSITIVE, VITAL EARLY MATH EXPERIENCES THAT SET THE STAGE for LATER LEARNING. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED to CAPTURE THE CHILDS NATURAL CURIOSITY, ENCOURAGE PARENT- CHILD INTERACTIONS
