Thompsons Treasures Thrift Store Open Throughout 2022 With Clothes and Household Goods for Regional Shoppers. Staffed By Volunteers, Thompsons Treasures Accepted A Variety of Donated Items That Were Sold At Bargain Prices. Weekly Discounts and Periodic Bag Sales Attracted Shoppers and Made Room for New Donated Inventory Supplied By Generous Area Residents.Initially The Shiop Was Open Three Days A Week But Additional Days Were Added In Later Months of 2022. All Income Minus Shop Expenses Was Given to The Town of Union to Offset The Building Operating Expenses.Clothing Was Provided At No Charge to Several Local Organizations Including The Union Nursing Home, The Regional High School Clothing Rack, and Other Non-profits (excess Inventory Due to Space Limitations).Thompson Community Center Cleaning Day (April) Attracted Volunteers Who Washed Windows, Swept Florrs, Etc to Make The Center More Attractive and Welcoming.Throughout 2022, Walkers and Pick-up Basketball Players Were Welcomed At T
