In 2022 Return Strong is In Its First Full Year As A Newly Formed Nonprofit Organization. Our Work This Year Focuses On Establishing Our Structure Building Our Board of Directors and Defining Our Mission As A Family- and Community-led Organization Supporting People Incarcerated In The Nevada Department of Corrections NDOC.Throughout The Year We Hold Regular Meetings With Families and Volunteers Typically Engaging 2530 Participants Who Gather to Share Concerns Access Information and Learn How to Advocate for Their Loved Ones. These Meetings Serve As Our Primary Method of Community Engagement and Help Us Identify Recurring Issues Inside NDOC. Return Strong Responds to Reports of Extended Lockdowns Isolation Medical Neglect Visitation Barriers and Communication Problems. We Provide Guidance to Families Navigating Policies and Help Elevate Concerns From Incarcerated People.
