Black Boarders CT Serves Youth of Color, Introducing Them to Winter Snowboarding. BBCT Provides Equipment,lessons, Lift Tickets and Field Trips In Connecticut and Out-of-state.During Fiscal Year 2025, Black Boarders CT Held 6 Weekly Classes for 25 Black and Brown Youth, Allowing Them to Spend Time In Nature, Learn to Snowboard, and Promote Diversity and Inclusion In Winter Sports, Particularly Snowboarding. The 6 Weekly Classes Took Place At Mt. Southington, Where The Youth Received Instruction From AASI-certified Instructors. Our East Coast Culminating Trip Was A Visit to Stratton Mountain In Vermont, Where The Youth Were Able to Explore Varied Terrain At A Higher Altitude. A Small Group Ended The Season By Traveling to Aspen, Colorado, Where They Showcased Their Skills On Hills Outside of Connecticut.
