THE SOMOS EMPRENDEDORES PROJECT CONSISTS of AN INTENSIVE 10 MONTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM TEACHING PARTICIPANTS HOW to DEVELOP, MANAGE and IMPROVE THEIR MICRO-BUSINESSES, INCLUDING BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SKILLS; PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT; SALES and MARKETING; DISTRIBUTION; VENDOR MANAGEMENT; PACKAGING and TRADEMARKS; CASH FLOW, FINANCE and ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES; HUMAN RESOURCES; LEGAL REGISTRATIONS; and BUSINESS NETWORKING. AS PART of THE PROGRAM, SOMOS EMPRENDEDORES OFFERS WORKSHOPS ON GENDER-BASED INEQUALITY, WORK-LIFE BALANCE, and ENHANCING THE WELL-BEING of THE PARTICIPANTS FAMILIES and IMPROVING THEIR DAILY LIVES.
