GREEN FEATHER FUND
EIN 88-2842026 · Philanthropy, Voluntarism & Grantmaking Foundations N.E.C. (T99)
What they do
We Received An Application for Financial Support From A Family Struggling With Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars of Medical Debt. The Treatment of Their Family (two Adults, Three Children), Who Were All Suffering From Lyme Disease, Was Not Covered By Their Health Insurance. While We Were Not Able to Secure Funding to Assist With Their Entire Application, A Local Foundation Was Willing to Contribute A Large Amount Specifically to Help This Family Pay Down Medical Debt and Avoid Losing Their Home. Their Treatment is Ongoing and Costs Continue to Grow, But This Grant Will Allow Them to Stay In Their Home, Keep Their Kids In Their Schools, and Hopefully Receive Additional Medical Treatment to Further Benefit Their Quality of Life.
