THE UKRAINE VOLYA FOUNDATION PROVIDES PSYCHOTHERAPY to CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE HORRORS of WAR and HAVE BEEN THE INTENDED TARGETS of VIOLENCE, WITNESSES of TRAUMATIZING EVENTS INCLUDING; SHELLING and DESTRUCTION, DEATH and INJURY, TORTURE and MURDER. THEY HAVE LOST THEIR CAREGIVERS and THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS and EXTENDED FAMILY, FRIENDS, and LOVED ONES. THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH 5 SHELTERS to CONTINUOUSLY HELP 400 CHILDREN. 160 PSYCHOLOGISTS, SOCIAL WORKERS, and CAREGIVERS HAVE GONE THROUGH OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS IN THE PAST.40 CHILDREN ARE CURRENTLY IN THERAPY SESSIONS WITH UVF PROFESSIONALS.
