The Peoples Kitchen Philly is Committed to Fighting Hunger and Food Insecurity. The Donations From Different Entities Are Instrumental In Helping Us to Achieve These Goals. The Population That The Peoples Kitchen Serves is Diverse and Comes With A Variety of Challenges. Our Clients Represent A Variety of Social Economic and Ethnic Groups Complicated By A Myriad of Languages and Dialects Who May Also Be Undocumented. They Also Tend to Skew Older Be Recipients of SNAP Benefits and Be Those for Whom English is A Second Language. They May Also Be Homeless or Housing Insecure As Well. The Peoples Kitchen Provides Meals Free of Charge Without Burdening Our Client With Having to Prove They Are Deserving. In The Last Year We Have Provided Over 20,000 Meals Free of Charge. We Also Help to Maintain and Supply Goods for A Community Pantry and Fridge.
