TEACHING ARTISTS ROC (TAROC) is COMMITTED to SERVING TWO KEY COMMUNITIES: THE BROADER PUBLIC ACROSS WESTERN and CENTRAL NEW YORK, and THE ARTISTS ON OUR ROSTER. OUR EFFORTS ARE FOCUSED ON ENSURING A REWARDING and EQUITABLE EXPERIENCE for BOTH THROUGH MEANINGFUL ARTS-BASED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING and SUPPORT.IN 2024, WE PROVIDED ARTS-INTEGRATED EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES to NEARLY 15,000 INDIVIDUALS (UP FROM 14,000 IN 2023) ACROSS 178 SITES, INCLUDING PUBLIC, CHARTER, and PRIVATE SCHOOLS, AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS, LIBRARIES, DAYCARES, CAMPS, and SENIOR CENTERS. of THOSE SERVED, APPROXIMATELY 11,000 WERE YOUTH and 4,000 WERE ADULTS. NEARLY 2,000 PARTICIPANTSIDENTIFIED AS HAVING A DISABILITY, WITH PROGRAMS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for THIS POPULATION DELIVERED AT 21 SITES THROUGHOUT MONROE COUNTY.IN OUR ROLE SUPPORTING ARTISTS, TAROC ENSURES FAIR and EQUITABLE COMPENSATION WHILE CAREFULLY MATCHING TEACHING ARTISTS WITH APPROPRIATE AUDIENCES to MAXIMIZE IMPACT.
