Advocacy Days At Texas Capitol - In 2025, ACT 4 SA Action Fund Brought Volunteers Together to Support Important Work At The Capitol In Austin, Texas. Our Advocacy In Austin Kicked Off By Supporting VOCAL TX On February 12 and 13. Together With Organizations From Across The State, We Rallied to Fight Back Against Billionaires and Build Safe and Thriving Communities. We Also Met With Lawmakers, Sharing The Importance of Public Health Interventions Like Housing Solutions and Proven Overdose Prevention Programs. The Next Month, We Attended The All In for Equality Advocacy Day In Austin. We Were Joined By Organizations and State Residents From Far and Wide, All Standing Up Proudly for The Rights of Queer Texans. ACT 4 SA Action Fund, Alongside Several Community Partners, Kept Tabs On Many Dangerous Bills Affecting Things Like The Carceral System, Cop Transparency, and Immigration. Thorouogh Some Advocacy Days With Coalition Partners We Were Able to Successfully Beat Several Bad Bills.
