What they do
QUILTERS ANONYMOUS is INVOLVED IN A VARIETY of COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. EACH YEAR 800 to 1000 QUILTS ARE PROVIDED to PREMATURE BABIES IN THE NEONATAL CARE UNITS AT SEATTLE AREA HOSPITALS. THE PROGRAM HAS PROVIDED PREMATURE BABIES and THEIR FAMILIES WITH OVER 6,400 QUILTS SINCE 2016. HOLIDAY STOCKINGS ARE CREATED for COMMUNITY CENTERS THAT HELP LOW INCOME CHILDREN and FAMILIES. HUNDREDS of STOCKINGS ARE CREATED EACH YEAR WITH OVER 14,000 DONATED SINCE 2016. LAP ROBE SIZE QUILTS ARE MADE for CANCER PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT. SINCE 2007 MORE THAN 100 QUILTS HAVE BEEN CREATED for THIS PROJECT. QUILTERS ANONYMOUS ALSO PROVIDES QUILTS to NURSING HOMES and HOSPICE CARE FACILITIES
