What they do
We Run An Overnight Camp for Orchestra Education. The Camp Takes Place Over Multiple Days and Has Different Sessions That Cater to Specific Age Ranges. Campers Can Range From 9-18, But Typically Fall In The 10-13 Age Range. Camp Offers Large and Small Group Rehearsal, Individualized Technique Classes, and Other Musical Education Classes. There Are Also Typical Camp Recreational and Teambuilding Activities. A Typical Year Has 70-110 Campers (spread Through Multiple Sessions) and Has A Staff of 10-20, Though Those Numbers Can Vary Considerably Year to Year. We Also Rely On Volunteers for Chaperones and Additional Adult Supervision. We Typically Have Three to Eight Volunteers for Camp. Each Camp Culminates In A Concert Put On for The Families Where Campers Can Demonstrate Their Accomplishments.
