THE LYNN CANAL RUNNING CAMP (LCRC) is A WEEKLONG OPPORTUNITY for HIGH SCHOOL RUNNERS to MEET and DEVELOP A LIFE-LONG PASSION for RUNNING. EVENTS EACH DAY VARIES, BUT THE FOCUS REMAINS THE SAME: A HOLISTIC APPROACH to HEALTHY RUNNING. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BREAKOUT SESSIONS ON NUTRITION, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY, RUNNING TECHNIQUE, RUNNING AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, and CORE STRENGTHENING. THE 2017 LCRC INCLUDED FORTY TEEN PARTICIPANTS FROM AROUND ALASKA and THE UNITED STATES,AND CANADA WHO WERE SUPPORTED BY TEN STAFF, FIFTEEN VOLUNTEERS, and SIX WORKSHOP LEADERS.
