SOLAR GEOENGINEERING is AN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY THAT COULD POTENTIALLY LIMIT THE HARM of FUTURE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS WHILE EMISSIONS REDUCTIONS and EFFORTS to REMOVE CARBON DIOXIDE FROM THE ATMOSPHERE ARE SCALED, BUT ALSO HAS POTENTIAL MAJOR RISKS THAT REQUIRE BETTER UNDERSTANDING and GOVERNANCE. DSG WILL CONVENE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, CREATE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE MATERIALS, FOSTER COLLABORATION ACROSS SECTORS and GEOGRAPHIES, and BUILD COMMUNICATION TOOLS for THE PUBLIC and NGO SECTORS.
