Our Neighborhood Music Empowerment Project Takes A Systemic Approach to Uplifting K-12 Youth Through Free Creative Space-making. This Programming Series Responds Directly to Community Needs, Identified In Partnership With Community Partners Like The Millvale Community Library and Community Social Worker Alyssa Peters, Using Music As A Tool for Community Healing and Youth Voice. This Program Served Roughly 50 Students Weekly Between October 20th 2024 and December 31st 2024. Our Programs Are Intentionally Designed to Welcome New Students So That There is Rolling Enrollment At Any Time. This Program Was Funded By A Grant From The Grable Foundation to Cover The 24-25 Academic Year. This Program Offered A Series of Developmentally Accessible Enrichment Activities. One Offering Was The Millvale Childrens Chorus, Which Served 20 Students (kindergarten Through 5th Grade) Each Week During The Timeline Listed Above.
