What they do
IN 2024, WE SUCCESSFULLY MET THE NUTRITIONAL, MEDICAL and EMOTIONAL NEEDS of OUR HORSES. DAILY THEY RECEIVE FREE CHOICE HAY, GRAIN, CLEAN WATER, CLEAN STALLS and PADDOCKS. OUR VETERINARIAN PROVIDES THEM WITH REGULAR VACCINATIONS, DEWORMING, DENTAL CHECKS and DENTAL FLOATS. OUR NATURAL HOOF CARE SPECIALIST PROVIDES REGULAR HOOF TRIMMINGS. OUR SENSITIVE or REACTIVE RESCUES CONTINUE to WORK WEEKLY WITH OUR NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP TRAINER ON BASIC GROUNDWORK and MANNERS. WE WELCOMED to OUR HERD: PEACHES, A 4-YEAR-OLD AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE FILLY WITH DEBILITATING ARTHRITIS IN BOTH HIND STIFLES; BLACKJACK, A SENIOR AMISH CART PONY WITH EQUINE CUSHINGS DISEASE and OLIVE, A 6-YEAR-OLD OFF-THE-TRACK THOROUGHBRED WHO is ALSO A CRIBBER. OLIVE WAS NOT THRIVING IN HER FIRST HOME OFF of THE RACETRACK SO THE HORSE SANCTUARY STEPPED IN to OFFER HER A LOW-STRESS HOME WHERE SHOULD COULD GAIN WEIGHT and CONFIDENCE. IN 2025, WE PLAN to HOST 1-2 OPEN HOUSES to SHOWCASE OUR RESCUES and SHARE THE STORIES EACH

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
