FUTURE OF FOOD ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
EIN 92-2673948 · Youth Development - Business (O53)
What they do
DURING AN IMMERSIVE MONTH-LONG PROGRAM IN THE BAY AREA, STUDENTS WORK ON A PRODUCT CHALLENGE: to IDENTIFY A PROBLEM WITHIN THE FOOD SYSTEM and PROTOTYPE A COMPANY THAT SOLVES THAT PROBLEM. AS PART of THE PROGRAM COURSEWORK, STUDENTS WORK WITH MBA STUDENTS. THE GRADUATE STUDENTS OFFER GUIDANCE ABOUT ENTREPRENEURSHIP, HELPING OUR STUDENTS UNDERSTAND THE CHALLENGES NEW COMPANIES FACE IN THE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SPACE. STUDENTS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN WEEKLY SESSIONS LED BY MBA STUDENTS and PROFESSORS. THESE SESSIONS INFORM and INSPIRE THE STUDENTS to APPLY THEIR NEWFOUND KNOWLEDGE IN THE PRODUCT CHALLENGE. OUR COMPANY PARTICIPANTS PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH UNPARALLELD ACCESS to LEADERSHIP and INNOVATORS WITHIN THE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SECTOR. AT THE END of THE MONTH-LONG PROGRAM, STUDENTS PRESENT THEIR PRODUCT IDEAS IN FRONT of AN AUDIENCE.

Should I give to this charity?

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event. The complete report shows the exact difference and financial history.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
