When Individuals With Down Syndrome, Autism, or Other Special Needs Finish High School, With Rare Exception, They Do Not Go On to College or Go On to Pursue Careers. Most Will Never Drive A Car or Live In Their Own Apartment. These Adults Often Face A Future of Isolation, Boredom, and Depression. Suncoast Stars Community (SSC) is Dismantling The Status Quo for Adults With Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) By Helping Them Unlock Their Potential and Experience Abundant Living. We Recognize That Adults With IDD Thrive Best In A Structured Environment With Regular Routines, Stimulating Activities, and Peer Support. SSC Was Formed In 2023 to Address This Important Need In Our Community. In 2025, SSC Served 22 Individuals In Our Work & Enrichment Program, An Increase of Eight Participants Versus 2024. We Also Expanded Programming to Three Days Per Week, Following Our Launch In 2023 Where We Operated Only One Day Per Week. Additionally, to Support Our Current Clients and Prepa
