Farmers Market - Our Organization Provides A Low-cost Space for Local Farmers, Particularly Beginning and Young Farmers, and Local Food Producers With A Place to Sell Directly to Consumers At A Seasonal Weekly Market. The Market is Community Focused and Aimed At Fostering Connection Between Farmer/food Producers and Consumers. to Foster These Relationships, In Addition to The Direct to Consumer Aspect, We Host Small Community Events, Community Meals, Educational Courses, and Childrens Activities. The Market Also Allows Our Farmers to Participate In Both State and Federal Programs, Such As SNAP, SNAP Match, and LFPA, Which They Would Otherwise Have Difficulty Participating In. It is Difficult to Measure The Exact Number of Persons Benefitted Different Community Members and Vendors Come Each Week. Population of The Surrounding Communities That Have Access to This Market is Around 20,000.
