Participicated In Veterans Day 2023 Event With Approximately 50 Attendees Who Showed Reverance to Our Departed Veterans. A Meal Followed The Event. Sent 2 Girls to Tar Heel Girls State Which Builds Character and Teaches The Democratic Process At A Cost of $800.00. Participated In The American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Poster Contest With Local Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Totaling $100. There Were Thirty Entries From The St. Pauls High School In Four Catagories Their Posters Were Forwarded Thru State to The National Contest. Three of The Students Won In The National Contest Receiving An Additional $50 Dollars Each With A Equal Amount Donated In Each Students to The Children of Warriors National Presidents Scholarship Fund. We Helped The St. Pauls Police Department With A $150.00 Donation to Provide Drug Prevention Pamplets to The Children of St. Pauls. Additionally We Helped The American Legion With Its Memorial Day Ceremony Celebrating Active Duty and Veterans.
